THE STEEL HANGING SYSTEM FOR PHOTOGRAPHS ON CANVAS Eliot Siegel designed this steel hanging system for photographs on
canvas.
The metal-work is done in Devon by a local firm. The steel is
purchased and laid outside
for several days to rust. The steel is chopped and assembled, then
varnished to a satin finish so that
the rust stays safely and permanently under the coats.
Photographs on canvas are luscious and when properly finished have a
great sense
![]() THE RUSTY STEEL BOX FRAME Made to order at Eliot's favourite Metal Worker's firm
in Devon, this new framing design is a deep frame of steel,
approximately
8 cm from the wall to the front. The steel is purchased and laid
An Acrylic Sandwich type photograph also works very well with the Rusty Box Frame. The photograph shown is called Plate 52A and can also be seen in the Sex, Lies and the Single Mannequin collection on the Home page.
![]() THE ACRYLIC SANDWICH The photograph is printed on the very back of a polished, thick Acrylic sheet. This presentation gives a wonderful sense of crystal-like depth to a photograph, and appears to intensify colours, as seen here on plate 132 from the Sex, Lies and the Single Mannequin Collection. Available in sizes large and small, all made to order and all part of a limited edition of only 100 prints.
All photographs seem to look great in a simply designed but elegantly crafted black wood picture frame. Available in any size, to order, and always part of a limited edition of only 100.
