Care of your Fine Art Photography purchase

Here are a few points to consider in the care of your photograph:

  • Photographs look great in normal room light. Indirect sunlight, track or halogen lighting will further enhance the photograph's beauty

  • The image must be mounted and window matted on 100% acid free archival museum board or you risk staining from the acids of cheaper boards

  • High humidity is likely to cause curling of the image so steamy bathrooms are not the ideal place to hang photographs

  • A photograph needs space to live and breath so matt and frame every image accordingly

  • Changing the the placement of a photograph in the room every now and then can bring new life to your image
